Bumby Camp Ruins
The Bumby Camp Ruins are located in the Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area in Central Florida. From the research I have done, this used to be the site of a hunting camp owned by the Bumby family, Kincaids, and Edward Fishbacks dating back to the early 1900s when the land was privately owned. The area was also known as Camp Blanton at one point according to an old hand-drawn map. Below you can see around what is left of the ruins in the 360-degree panoramic images in the virtual tour. You can see the remnants of a brick chimney, maybe an old A/C or some kind of appliance. and other metal items around the area. There was what looked like a small artesian well adjacent to the chimney with some fuel-like chemical floating out of it. If you have any insight about this abandoned spot, let me know in the comments below.
