360 Panoramic of the Falcon 9 JCSAT 16 Launch.
On Sunday, August 14, 2016, SpaceX successfully launched its second mission for the Japanese satellite operator SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation. This mission was the JCSAT 16 and launched at 1:26 am from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral, Florida. After the launch, SpaceX successfully landed the Falcon 9 first stage on the autonomous drone ship off the Florida coast.
