United Launch Alliance CRS-7 Mission.
For the United Launch Alliance’s CRS-7 mission, I was lucky enough to get on the limited list of media photographers to view the launch of the Atlas V rocket from the top of the Vehicle Assembly Building. This is the second time I was able to view a SpaceX launch from the top of the VAB. The first was for CRS-6 which launched from pad 40 in April 2015.
The view from the roof is amazing as you can see almost every launch complex at Kennedy Space Center and the neighboring Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
Below you can watch the 360° VR video I captured of the rocket launch.
Take a 360° VR walk around launch Complex 41 in this virtual reality video.
