SpaceX Starlink 2 Launch 360-degree panorama
On Monday, January, 6th, 2020, SpaceX launched another set of satellites for their Starlink constellation via a flight-proven Falcon 9 rocket. This was the first launch of 2020 and is a milestone for Spacex as it was the 4th time this first stage booster was flown. After successfully placing the satellites into orbit, the Falcon 9 booster landed out at sea on the autonomous drone ship called, “Of Course, I Still Love You”, marking the 48th successful landing since 2015. The Starlink 2 launch was the third launch for the Starlink satellites from launch complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Air Station in Florida.
Below are a few images I captured of the SpaceX Starlink launch from the Bio Lab boat ramp in the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge just thirteen miles north of the launch pad. While I had a little hiccup at the beginning of the launch, I am still very happy and proud of how the images below turned out.
