Kennedy Space Center in 360°

Here are a few 360° panoramic images I captured while I was visiting NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida for the SpaceX Falcon 9 CRS 6 Mission back in April 2015.

In the first image, you can see one of the Crawler-transporters that NASA uses to move spacecraft from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) along the crawler way to launch pad 39a or 39b. This massive vehicle is historically known for carrying the Space Shuttle fleet from the VAB to the Launch Pads. The second image brings us closer to Launch Pad 39a, where SpaceX is refurbishing the old pad for use with its Falcon 9 and Falcon 9 heavy rockets.  The third image puts you between the VAB and the mobile launcher for the Space Launch System (SLS), a rocket that is in the same lifting category as the Saturn V. The fourth 360° brings you to the ATC Tower at the historical Space Shuttle Landing Facility. In the last image, you can see a rocket engine that is inside the Operations Support Bldg II (OSB-II).
