Connestee Falls in North Carolina
Connestee Falls is an 85-foot waterfall located near Brevard, North Carolina. You can view the top of the waterfall from an ADA-accessible deck that stretches about 50-yards to the falls. The falls have several parts, the top portion features a wide free-fall and nearly vertical cascade, with a smaller series of splashing cascades below it. The bottom portion comes together with Batson Creek Falls, which is on a side stream, and then drops into a narrow rock crevice known as the “Silver Slip” and out of sight. You used to be able to walk down to get a better look, however, when the county remodeled the platform, they removed access to the lower portion of the waterfalls. In the 360-degree panoramic images below, you can see Batson Creek Falls across the platform and to the left, Connestee Falls
